Data in many entity base tables references system user, organization, business unit, or territory information. You must transform or cleanse your source data in the entity tables that refer to this information to ensure that only valid data is used. This allows the CDF Migration Tool to maintain the data relationships.
Important Do not enter data directly in the cdf_SystemUser, cdf_BusinessUnit, or cdf_Territory tables because data from these tables will not be migrated into Microsoft CRM. If you find an error or omission in a correlation table, fix the data in Microsoft CRM and then rerun the CDF Initialization Tool.
| Correlation table | Purpose of table |
| cdf_SystemUser | Stores information about the users that you set up in Microsoft CRM. |
| cdf_SystemUser_info | Tracks whether the users in the CDF database have been correlated with the users that you defined in Microsoft CRM. The CDF Migration Tool adds each user's Microsoft CRM GUID to the DestinationId attribute during the migration process. |
| cdf_Organization | Stores the organization name that you used in Microsoft CRM Setup. |
| cdf_Organization _info | Tracks whether the organization in the CDF database has been correlated with the organization that you defined in Microsoft CRM. The CDF Migration Tool adds each organization’s Microsoft CRM GUID to the DestinationId attribute during the migration process. |
| cdf_BusinessUnit | Stores the business units that you defined in Microsoft CRM. |
| cdf_BusinessUnit_info | Tracks whether the business units in the CDF database have been correlated with the business units that you defined in Microsoft CRM. The CDF Migration Tool adds each business unit’s Microsoft CRM GUID to the DestinationId attribute during the migration process. |
| cdf_Territory | Stores the territories that you defined in Microsoft CRM. |
| cdf_Territory_info | Tracks whether the territories in the CDF database have been correlated with the territories that you defined in Microsoft CRM. The CDF Migration Tool adds each territory’s Microsoft CRM GUID to the DestinationId attribute during the migration process. |
