This property retrieves the buffering time in seconds.

Syntax

MediaPlayer.BufferingTime

Possible Values

This property is a read-only Double ranging from 1 to 30. The default for Windows Media content is 5 seconds. The default for video-on-demand (VOD) content is 3 seconds.

Remarks

The buffering time is the number of seconds the Windows Media Player control allocates for buffering incoming data before playback begins.

Version: Windows Media Player version 6.4.

Library: Use msdxm.ocx.

Platform: Windows 98 Second Edition or higher.
