This property retrieves a value indicating whether the current content contains a playlist that can be previewed.

Syntax

MediaPlayer.CanPreview

Possible Values

This property is a read-only Boolean.

Remarks

If the value of this property is true, Windows Media Player can be operated in preview mode by setting the PreviewMode property to true. When Windows Media Player is in preview mode, it renders a few seconds of each clip in the playlist. By default, the length of time each clip plays is 10 seconds; however, you can set the preview duration in a Windows Media metafile with the PREVIEWDURATION element.
