WMRMLicGen.ClientInfo

The ClientInfo property specifies system information about a consumer's computer.

Syntax

WMRMLicGen.ClientInfo(newVal)

Parameters

newVal

[in] String containing the client information section of the header.

Return Values

If the property succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns a number in the error object.

Return code Description
0x80048001 A parameter is not valid.
0x80048003 The object cannot be initialized.
0x8004800D The key cannot be encoded.
0x8004800F A decoding error occurred. This is probably due to an invalid input string.

Remarks

This property is write-only. You can use the WMRMChallenge.ClientInfo property to retrieve client information from a challenge.

Example Code
