Send required documents

By now, you should have received an order confirmation via e-mail. You may be required to provide proof of accreditation and additional documentation to validate your application. Be sure to indicate the MSDNAA program name and order number on all documents you send.

a)

Membership in the MSDN Academic Alliance program is available to appropriate departments within accredited academic institutions, including four-year universities, two-year colleges, technical schools, and high schools.

Prospective members are required to supply proof of accreditation. You will be contacted if additional documentation is required.

In the United States, additional documentation is required. In the U.S., you must supply a P.O number, Tax Exemption number, and proof of accreditation. After you send the required documentation by fax or e-mail to the local office in your region, as listed here, the submission will be validated. Send all required documentation at the time of ordering to avoid unnecessary delays. If your school has a tax exemption number, you must provide it.

b) Wait for validation. It can take up to 10 days for us to check if you are eligible. As soon as your order is accepted, you'll receive a second e-mail, telling you how to activate your subscription. You can access your benefits about three days after activation.
c) Refer to the Program Information Guide for acceptance criteria.
