These procedures explain how to configure the Policy Injection Application Block with the configuration tools. You can use the Configuration Console provided with Enterprise Library or the Configuration Editor integrated with Visual Studio when you install Enterprise Library. For more information about the configuration tools, see The Enterprise Library Configuration Tools.
This section contains the following topics:
- About the Policy Injection Application Block Configuration
- Adding the Policy Injection Application Block to the Configuration
- Defining and Configuring Policies
- Defining and Configuring Matching Rules
- Defining and Configuring Handler Pipelines
- Viewing the Effective Policies
- Source Schema for the Policy Injection Application Block
Note
When using attributes directly applied to class members to define the application of handlers to that member, you do not need to create a policy in the application configuration. However, you must still add and configure any of the other Enterprise Library application blocks required by the handlers you use.
