Remove the Navigation Bar from a Web Page

By default, a navigation bar is included on every page of your Web site. If you have activated the Advanced Design features included with your Office Live Small Business account, you can remove this navigation bar from any page.

To activate the Advanced Design features, see Activate and Deactivate Advanced Design Features.

Remove the navigation bar from an existing page

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Web Site.

  2. In Page Manager, on the actions bar, click Design Site, and then, in the drop-down list, click Design site.

  3. Click the Page Editor tab.

  4. In the actions bar, click Page properties.

  5. Next to Include, clear the Navigation check box.

Remove the navigation bar from a new page

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Web Site.

  2. In Page Manager, on the actions bar, click New page or, in the Web designer, at the top of the window, click Web pages, and then click New page.

  3. In the Create Web page dialog box, select a template, and then click Next.

  4. In Page information, type the Page title and Web address.

  5. In Navigation, select or clear the Show this page in the Navigation bar check box, type a title for the navigation link, and then select the location where the link will appear.

  6. Next to Include, clear the Navigation check box.

  7. Click Finish.
