Remove the Header from a Web Page

By default, a header is included on every page of your Web site. If the Advanced Design features included with your Office Live Small Business account are activated, you can choose to remove the header from any page.

To activate the Advanced Design features, see Activate and Deactivate Advanced Design Features.

Remove the Header from an Existing Page

  1. On the left navigation bar of the Home page, click Web Site.

  2. In Page Manager, on the actions bar, click Design Site, and then, in the drop-down list, click Design site.

  3. Click the Page Editor tab.

  4. In the actions bar, click Page properties.

  5. Next to Include, clear the Header check box.

Remove the header from a new page

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Web Site.

  2. In Page Manager, on the actions bar, click New page or, in the Web designer, at the top of the window, click Web pages, and then click New page.

  3. In the Create Web page dialog box, select a template, and then click Next.

  4. In Page information, type the Page title and Web address.

  5. In Navigation, select or clear the Show this page in the Navigation bar check box, type a title for the navigation link, and then select the location where the link will appear.

  6. In Standard page elements, clear the Header check box.

  7. Click Finish.
