Starts an asynchronous Register operation for the current endpoint.

Parameters

  • userCallback
    The method to call when the Register operation has completed.
  • state
    The application state.

Return Value

An IAsyncResult state object representing the operation.

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
InvalidOperationException

Thrown when the method is not called in the Unregistered state, or the endpoint is terminated.

Thread Safety

All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
