How to: Provide Keyword Values While Debugging

Use the Keyword Values box on the User Input tab to enter semantic keywords when debugging a managed code voice response application.
- If the grammar used for recognition is a Conversational Grammar (.gbuilder), the Keyword Values box is prepopulated and cannot be edited. For more information about Conversational Grammar files, see Use Conversational Grammar Builder to Create Grammars.
- If the grammar used for recognition is a Keyword Grammar (.grxml), the Keyword Values box can be edited. For more information about Keyword Grammar Files, see Use Speech Grammar Editor to Create Grammars.
Entering Semantic Keywords
To enter semantic keywords
Start a debugging session.
For more information, see How to: Start a Debugging Session.
On the User Input tab, select Keyword Values.
In the Keyword Values box, enter or select a keyword, and then select a recognition confidence value.
Click Submit.
During usability testing, the author can use Keyword Values to override the input that the usability subject provides to the application.
