How to: Add a Prompt Database

A prompt database contains the scripts and recordings for the prompts used in a speech application. Use Solution Explorer to add new or existing prompt databases to a prompt project.
Adding a New Prompt Database
To add a new prompt database
In Solution Explorer, right-click the prompt project, click Add, and then click New Item.
In the Add New Item dialog box, double-click Prompt Database.
Adding an Existing Prompt Database
To add an existing prompt database
In Solution Explorer, right-click the prompt project, click Add, and then click Existing Item.
Use the file browser to point to the existing .promptdb file, and then click Open.
