Property Value
A DetectionResult value that is returned by this DetectAnsweringMachineActivity.
Remarks
When you run an application that uses a DetectAnsweringMachineActivity in the debugger, and you use text emulation, DetectionResult is always set to LivePerson, even if the text you enter has a match in your grammar and produces a semantic value of ANSWERING_MACHINE_RESPONSE. To prevent incorrect results from being returned, use a microphone or a recorded .wav file.
The reason for this behavior is that a response entered as text instead of audio has a duration of zero. Any response that is less than MaximumUtteranceDurationToAssumePerson is automatically considered to be a human, and no other criteria are considered in this decision.
Thread Safety
All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
