Setup Log Files

Setup log files are text files containing information captured while the Speech Server Setup program is running. Information in these files can be helpful in troubleshooting setup issues. The Setup program creates two log files for each session:
- MSS_Setup(datestamptimestamp).htm, which contains a summary of the major setup events.
- MSS_Setup(datestamptimestamp).log, which contains detailed information about all setup activity.
The files are written to %TEMP%. You can access the summary log file for a particular setup session by clicking the Log File link on the final page of the Setup wizard or by going to %TEMP% and opening the .htm file for the setup session. To open detailed log files, go to %TEMP% and open the .log file for the setup session in a text editor.
