Sets the search preference of a specified search type.

Parameters

  • dwValue
    A value of the DWORD (uint, for a .NET application) type.

Remarks

For the search preference of the UCC_USER_SEARCH_PREFERENCE.UCCUSP_MAX_MATCHES type, the preference value is the maximum number of matching users to be returned in a result. For the search preference of the UCC_USER_SEARCH_PREFERENCE.UCCUSP_TIME_LIMIT type, the preference value is the time limit for an individual user search before returning results for users found.
