Creates a new instance of the conference participant endpoint by copying a given conference participant endpoint instance.

Parameters

• pInputParticipantEndpoint
  A value of the IUccSessionParticipantEndpoint* (IUccSessionParticipantEndpoint, for a .NET application) type. This specifies a conference participant endpoint instance to be copied.

• enType
  A value of the UCC_CONFERENCE_ENTITY_TYPE type. This specifies the type of the conference entity to which this conference participant connects using the resultant endpoint instance.

• pContext
  A value of the IUccContext* (UccContext, for a .NET application) type. This specifies a set of application-defined properties for the resultant conference participant endpoint instance.

Return Value

A value of the IUccConferenceSessionParticipantEndpoint** (IUccConferenceSessionParticipantEndpoint, for a .NET application) type. This returns the copied conference participant endpoint instance.

Remarks

The application can then set appropriate properties on the resultant endpoint instance before adding it to this conference participant.

Note

In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
