Gets and sets the time of the last update of the URL.

A value of the DATE* (DateTime, for a .NET application) type.

Remarks

This property is not initialized in all cases. Accessing the property in an un-initialized state raises a COM exception. An application should surround a reference to this property in a try/catch block and trap for a COMException..

Note

In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. Example

The following example iterates on a collection of Url instances in a contact card Url collection. The string Url value and last update date are added to an instance of StringBuilder. Finally, the StringBuilder instance is returned to calling code. Note that the reference to LastUpdated is surrounded by a try/catch block.
