_IUccContainerMemberEvents.OnContainerAdded Method
This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.
Raised when a container has been added to a given container member's collection of containers.
Namespace: Microsoft.Office.Interop.UccApi
Assembly: Microsoft.Office.Interop.UccApi (in microsoft.office.interop.uccapi.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Sub OnContainerAdded ( _
pMember As IUccContainerMember, _
pEvent As UccContainerMembershipEvent _
)
void OnContainerAdded (
IUccContainerMember pMember,
UccContainerMembershipEvent pEvent
)
void OnContainerAdded (
IUccContainerMember^ pMember,
UccContainerMembershipEvent^ pEvent
)
void OnContainerAdded (
IUccContainerMember pMember,
UccContainerMembershipEvent pEvent
)
function OnContainerAdded (
pMember : IUccContainerMember,
pEvent : UccContainerMembershipEvent
)
Parameters
- pMember
A value of the IUccContainerMember* (IUccContainerMember, for a .NET application) type. This specifies the container member whose Containers collection now includes the container specified by the pContainer parameter.
- pEvent
A value of the IUccContainerMembershipEvent* (UccContainerMembershipEvent, for a .NET application) type. This contains the container to which the container member specified above is added.
Remarks
This event is raised when a local user's contact has been granted an access level that moves the contact from one ACL container to another. The container returned as the pEvent parameter is the container the contact was moved to.
Win32 COM/C++ Syntax
HRESULT OnContainerAdded
(
IUccContainerMember* pMember,
IUccContainerMembershipEvent* pEvent
);
Note
In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. For the UCC API-defined HRESULT values, see Trace and Handle Errors in Unified Communications Client API
Example
The following example handles the OnContainerAdded event by adding the container Id of the added container to an application list (this._containerIDs
).
void _IUccContainerMemberEvents.OnContainerAdded(
IUccContainerMember pMember,
UccContainerMembershipEvent pEvent)
{
this._containerIDs.Add(pEvent.Container.Id);
}
