OLE DB and ADO

You can use the Exchange OLE DB (ExOLEDB) provider and Microsoft® ActiveX® Data Objects (ADO) to access data from within event sinks. The ExOLEDB provider is the OLE DB implementation for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. The ExOLEDB provider is a core component of Exchange and is registered automatically when Exchange Server 2003 is installed.
