Business Contact Manager with Outlook

Remarks

Business Contact records organize information about Business Contacts. A Business Contact can exist as a standalone record, or as a record nested within an Account object. You can add an Opportunity, Business Project, or communication history items—Appointment, Business Note, E-Mail Message, File, Phone Log, and Task—to a Business Contact record. You cannot programmatically copy Outlook contacts into Business Contact Manager for Outlook.

By using the Outlook object model, you can programmatically:

  • Create a new Business Contact.
  • Select an existing Business Contact.
  • Edit Business Contact properties.
  • Link or unlink Business Contacts to an Account.
  • Delete a Business Contact.

The Business Contacts folder contains Business Contact records.
