Returns the F probability distribution.

Version Information

Version Added: Excel 2010

Syntax

expression .F_Dist(Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, Arg4)

expression A variable that represents a WorksheetFunction object.

Parameters

Name

Required/Optional

Data Type

Description

Arg1

Required

Double

X - The value at which to evaluate the function.

Arg2

Required

Double

Deg_freedom1 - The numerator degrees of freedom.

Arg3

Required

Double

Deg_freedom2 - The denominator degrees of freedom.

Arg4

Optional

Cumulative - A logical value that determines the form of the function. If cumulative is TRUE, F_DIST returns the cumulative distribution function; if FALSE, it returns the probability density function.

Return Value

Double

Remarks
