DetailLink Property

The DetailLink property contains a URL that appears in the Web Part frame or heading. This property makes it possible for users to view a full-page, detailed interface for the Web Part; for example, you could set this property for a Web Part that exposes top news headlines to provide a way for users to jump to that site's home page.
Dashboard views use this URL as the source for an anchor tag that is wrapped around the title of a Web Part. The user clicks the Web Part title to jump to the site that the URL specifies.
