IsVisible Property

The IsVisible property indicates whether a Web Part is visible in the dashboard view or whether it is present but invisible. You might want to create a helper Web Part that is not visible but supplies a central service to other Web Parts on the page. A dashboard factory includes Web Parts with IsVisible set to FALSE, but they take up no space in the view layout.
