You can synchronize the user information manually or set a schedule to synchronize it automatically on a regular basis. By setting a synchronization schedule, your user directory is synchronized at the dates and times you specify.
To define a synchronization schedule
Open the Workflow Manager for SQL Server.
From the Server list, select the server containing the workflow applications, and click Refresh.
On the User Information tab, click Synchronization.
Note To define a synchronization schedule, you must be a Microsoft® SQL Server™ system administrator. This button will not be available if you do not have administrator privileges.
To synchronize user information with either Exchange 2000 or Active Directory, select Synchronize with Exchange 2000 or Active Directory.
To synchronize user information with Exchange 5.5, select Synchronize with Exchange 5.5.
In the Exchange Server box, enter the name of your Exchange 5.5 server.
To specify synchronization details, click Options. This opens the SQL Server UserList Properties dialog box. For detailed help on the options available in this dialog box, select a tab, and click Help. This opens the SQL Server online Help.
Note To be able to set options, you must be working on a computer that has SQL Server installed.
Click OK.
