Unless all of your users are computer experts, even the simplest application will need some kind of user assistance. Office 2000 Developer includes several tools that you can use to add help to your application.

  • The HTML Help Workshop provides a complete environment for creating and managing help files.

  • The Microsoft® Answer Wizard Builder helps you create your own Answer Wizard similar to the one in Office.

  • Microsoft® Agent Control 2.0 allows you to create character-based help similar to the Office Assistant.

These tools are available on the Microsoft Office 2000 Developer CD, and each tool comes with its own documentation. For information about installing them, see Installing Office 2000 Developer.

To learn about implementing context-sensitive help in your application, see Chapter 13, "" in the Microsoft Office 2000/Visual Basic Programmer's Guide.
