Nearly any solution that stores data also needs to retrieve, analyze, and present the data in a manner that makes it easy to understand. Although there are quick and simple ways to present data, such as in a Microsoft Access report, you may need to design a custom reporting component for your application if you want to create flexible or dynamic reports. There are so many ways to retrieve data and create reports that deciding on the best format for a report can be a challenging task.
