Keywords Tab, Database Window (Code Librarian)

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

Use the Keywords tab to search the database for associated source code. The list in the Keywords tab is similar to an index. Click the keyword in the list to view a list of code snippets associated with each keyword.

From this tab, you can use menu and right-click commands to create new keywords and rename and delete existing keywords. Creating a new keyword does not associate that keyword with source code. To associate code with a new keyword, use the Settings tab on the Code window. Whether or not deleting keyword deletes the associated code or just the keyword depends on the settings in the Options dialog box. The default setting does not delete the associated code.
