About Shares Calculation jobs
The Shares Calculation job determines the entities that are to be consolidated and calculates the direct and indirect ownership percentages for the selected parent.
To run a job, you must have not only permission to run the job, but also Read permission on the Planning Server system database. Otherwise, you cannot see the results of the job. If you do not currently have Read permission on the database, talk to the Planning Server data administrator.

If you select the SharesCalculation template for this job, you must set the following properties to run the job:
