About values required to schedule a job
To run a job, you must first provide required values for the Create a Job Instance wizard. Some required values, such as a job name and label, are required for all jobs. Other required values are specific to a particular job template.

The following table shows the values that are required for all jobs.
Job property name
Description
Name
User-friendly name of the job. The name must be from one to 256 characters long.
Label
Unique identifier for the job. For information about restrictions on this value, see About names and labels.
Description
A short description of the job. The description can be up to 512 characters long.
Owner
The user who is responsible for finishing the job.
Note:
Jobs are run under the context of the user who runs the job, not under the context of the specified owner of the job.
Job Type
The type of the job. Must be one of the following values:
Calculation Rule
Consolidation
Currency Calculation
Data Export
Data Load
Data Movement
Intercompany Reconciliation
Shares Calculation
Job Template
The name, label, and description of the job template for this job.
Job Start Date and Time
The earliest date and time of day at which the job can run. These values may be overridden by selecting Start job manually in the wizard.
Rerun settings
(Optional) Configuration values that are required when the user selects Rerun job automatically.
