EntityInstanceEnumeratorBase.SharedEntityState Property

When overridden in a derived class, returns the SharedEntityState object for the entity instances in the enumerator.

Remarks

All entity instances in an enumerator belong to the same entity and therefore have much common information, such as the entity name, member, and type descriptor information. Instead of storing this information for every entity instance, the Business Data Catalog stores this information only one time for an enumerator, in a SharedEntityState object.
