Defines the data type of a parameter for a method.

The TypeDescriptor type exposes the following members.

Properties

	Name	Description
	ChildTypeDescriptors	Obsolete. Gets the collection of child type descriptors under this type descriptor.
	ContainsFilterDescriptor	Obsolete. Gets a boolean, true if the typedescriptor contains a filter descriptor column.
	ContainsIdentifier	Obsolete. Gets a boolean, true if the typedescriptor contains an identifier column.
	DefaultDisplayName	Obsolete. Gets the default display name of the metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	FilterDescriptor	Obsolete. Gets or sets the filter descriptor associated with this type descriptor.
	Id	Obsolete. Gets the unique ID of the metadata object from the metadata repository. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Identifier	Obsolete. Gets or sets the identifier represented by this type descriptor.
	IsCached	Obsolete. Indicates whether this metadata object is cached or not. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	IsCollection	Obsolete. Gets or sets a boolean indicating whether the TypeDescriptor represents a collection.
	LocalizedDisplayName	Obsolete. Gets or sets the localized display name for the metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	LocalizedDisplayNames	Obsolete. Gets all the localized display names available for this metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Name	Obsolete. Gets or sets the name of the metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Parameter	Obsolete. Gets the parameter object to which the type descriptor belongs.
	ParentTypeDescriptor	Obsolete. Sets or gets the parent type descriptor for this type descriptor.

	TypeName	Obsolete. Gets or sets the name of the type in the line-of-business (LOB) system's type system that is described by this TypeDescriptor.
