The FriendlyName property of the FriendlyNameAttribute class gets the caption displayed in the property pane for a Web Part's custom property.

Property Value

The friendly name of the Web Part's custom property.

Remarks

The FriendlyName property is used if the ResourcesAttribute attribute isn't specified.
