Get-AntispamUpdates

Use the Get-AntispamUpdates cmdlet to determine the type of Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server anti-spam updates that are retrieved. The Enable-AntispamUpdates and Disable-AntispamUpdates cmdlets can be used to set the mode by which the anti-spam updates are retrieved on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role or the Hub Transport server role installed.
Note
The Forefront Security for Exchange Server update service polls Microsoft Update hourly to download updates or determine whether the opt-in status has changed. Therefore, it can take up to one hour for the opt-in action to be reflected in your system. If you want to verify the modified opt-in status immediately, restart the Microsoft Exchange Anti-spam Update service.

Detailed Description
This cmdlet displays the settings that are used to retrieve Forefront Security for Exchange Server anti-spam updates from Microsoft Updates.
To run the Get-AntispamUpdates cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:
- Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server
To run the Get-AntispamUpdates cmdlet on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.
