Get-IPAllowListEntry (RTM)

Use the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet to obtain the IP address configuration information for the Connection Filter agent on the computer on which the command is run.

Syntax

Get-IPAllowListEntry [-Identity <IPListEntryIdentity>]

Get-IPAllowListEntry -IPAddress <IPAddress>

Detailed Description

To run the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:

  • Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server

To run the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.

If you want to view the IP Allow list entry or entries that contain a specific IP Address, use the IPAddress parameter to specify an IP Address. For example, if you have an IP Allow List entry that specifies a range of IP addresses from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.20, enter any IP address in the IP Allow List IP address range to return the IP Allow list entry.

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.IPListEntryIdentity

If you want to view a specific IP Allow list entry, use the Identity parameter to specify the configuration number. When you add an IP address to the IP Allow list, the Identity parameter is automatically incremented.

Example

The following code examples shows two Get-IPAllowListEntry commands.

The first code example shows a Get-IPAllowListEntry command that returns all entries on the IP Allow list for the computer on which the command is run.

The second code example shows a Get-IPAllowListEntry command that returns an IP Allow list entry in which the specified IP address is included.
