HtmlToText.DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property

The DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the encoding is detected from the meta tag or determined by the InputEncoding property.

Property value

Type: System.Boolean
The DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property returns true if the meta tag in the input is to be used to determine the encoding. This property returns false to indicate that the input encoding is to be determined by the InputEncoding property.
If the DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property is set to true, but the byte order mark is not present, then the InputEncoding property is used to determine the encoding.

Remarks

The DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property must be set before conversion begins.
