Delete user profile

Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:
You have read the topic Import user profiles.
Your system is running either the Standard or Enterprise version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Important
Administrators must have access to the Shared Services Provider (SSP) administration site, and must have the Manage User Profiles permission enabled to complete this procedure.
You can delete individual user profiles that have been imported through connections to directory services. Note that users without imported user profiles are listed in the Select People and Groups dialog box and can be given access to sites and any of the SharePoint permissions. However, content targeted to properties in the user profile do not include them, and they do not show up in people searches.
To delete a user profile
Use the following procedure to delete a user profile.
Delete user profile
On the Shared Services Administration Home page, in the User Profiles and My Sites section, click User profiles and properties.
On the User Profiles and Properties page, in the Profiles and Import Settings section, click View user profiles.
On the View User Profiles page, click the account name for the user profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete on the menu.
Note
You can delete multiple user profiles by selecting the check box for the user profiles that you want to delete, and clicking Delete on the toolbar.
In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
