Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:
You have read the topic Manage targeted links.
Your system is running either the Standard or Enterprise version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Important
Administrators must have access to the Shared Services Provider (SSP) administration site.
Administrators can delete targeted links from any of the three SharePoint lists that can be accessed from the Shared Services Administration site. Deleted links will no longer be used to target content.
Publish a link to Office client applications
Use the following procedure to delete a targeted link.
Delete a targeted link
On the Shared Services Administration home page, in the User Profiles and My Sites section, click one of the following links depending upon which type of link you want to delete:
Trusted My Site host locations
Published links to Office client applications
Personalization site links
On the selected targeted links list, click the menu next to the link that you want to delete, and then click Delete Item.
On the confirmation message that appears, click OK.
