SecureStoreServiceApplicationProxy.SetUserCredentials method

NOTE: This API is now obsolete.

Sets the credentials for the specified user and target application.

Parameters

• applicationId
  Type: System.String

  The target application ID.

• claim
  Type: Microsoft.Office.SecureStoreService.Server.SecureStoreServiceClaim

  The identity claim for the user whose credentials are to be set.

• credentials
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.Infrastructure.SecureStore.SecureStoreCredentialCollection

  The collection of user credentials to set.

Remarks

This method can be invoked by the administrator of an application to set the credentials for a user.

Since this method is obsolete, you should invoke it through the ISecureStore interface instead.
