SPLog.Error method (SPUpgradeSession, String)

Writes the specified error message to the upgrade event log specified by the user. This call will cause the upgrade session that contains the SPLog to increase its error count by one. An upgrade session that contains one or more errors is considered to have failed.

Parameters

• session
  Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeSession

  An SPUpgradeSession object specified by the user. This can also be a non-active upgrade-session.

  Type: System.String

  A string containing the message that will be written to the event log.
