Configuring Web Service Settings
Topic Last Modified: 2011-01-24
The Web service produces a troubleshooting log file. This file is located in the installation folder, under Logs. You can use the Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Group Chat Configuration tool to change the log level of the locally installed Web service dynamically without having to restart the service. For details about logging, see Configuring Log Levels for the Channel Service, Lookup Service, or Web Service.
Note
Settings made in this view affect only the locally installed Web service. For details about how to change system-wide settings for all Web services, see Configuring File Repository Settings.
To modify the log level
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Lync Server 2010 Group Chat.
Open the Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Group Chat Configuration tool.
On the File menu, click Configure Server Settings.
