Install the UDDI Services Web Application

The UDDI Services Web Application provides a Web user interface (UI) that developers can use for querying and publishing in a UDDI Services site and administrators can use for coordination tasks.

Important

During installation, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption is selected by default. If you decide to use SSL encryption with UDDI Services, you must have an authentication certificate for the installation of Internet Information Services (IIS) that hosts the UDDI Services Web Application. For more information about configuring SSL on a Web server, see Configuring SSL on a Web Server or Web Site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=64327).

Membership in the Administrators group, or equivalent, on the local computer and on the remote computer hosting the UDDI Services Database is required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477.
