SqlCeResultSet.SetChars Method
Copies a length of chars from the specified buffer to the specified column, starting at the specified location within that field.

Parameters
- ordinal
The ordinal position of the column to set.
- dataIndex
The location within the column to which to begin copying the data.
- buffer
The buffer that contains the data to copy.
- bufferIndex
The offset within the buffer from which to copy the data.
- length
The maximum number of bytes to copy.
Remarks
The underlying column must be of type char, nchar, varchar, nvarchar, text, or ntext.
An exception is thrown if the row is not marked as updatable.
An exception is thrown if no field exists at the specified position.

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
