How to: Add, Change, or Remove Data Series Point Labels (Report Builder)

Each data series marker can be labeled so that readers see what each marker represents.

To add data series point labels

In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.
Point to Data Series, and click Format Data Series for the data series that you want to change. The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
Select the Show point labels check box.
Click OK.

In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.
Point to Data Series, and click Format Data Series for the data series that you want to change. The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
To change the location of the point label in relation to the marker, select a different position for the labels from the Position drop down list.
To change the angle of the point label, use the arrows to change the degrees in the Angle box.
To change the font of the labels, click the Font icon button.
Click OK.

In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.
Point to Data Series, and click Format Data Series for the data series that you want to change. The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
Clear the Show point labels check box.
Click OK.
