Page Setup Dialog Box (Report Builder)
Specify page settings for the current report. The design area size can be changed by setting the report's Page Setup properties. When set, the design area is displayed using the specified dimensions without the margins. Margins settings are applied to the report when printing.
Margins
- Top
Sets the distance between the top of the report and the top of the first line of the report.
- Bottom
Sets the distance between the bottom of the report and the bottom of the last line of the report.
- Left
Sets the distance between the left edge of the report and the left edge of the report rows.
- Right
Sets the distance between the right edge of the report and the right edge of the report rows.
Paper Size
- Paper type
Select a size from the list which automatically enters the dimensions in the Width and Height controls. Alternatively, select Custom Size and then change the Width and Height controls to reflect the size you want to use.
- Width
Displays the width of the paper size that is selected in the Paper type list.
- Height
Displays the height of the paper size that is selected in the Paper type list.
Orientation
- Portrait
Specifies the page orientation of the report. Portrait indicates that the page is longer vertically.
- Landscape
Specifies the page orientation of the report. Landscape indicates that the page is longer horizontally.
Page units
- Inches
Specifies the page size in inches. By default, your local settings determine which page unit is selected.
- Centimeters
Specifies the page size in centimeters. By default, your local settings determine which page unit is selected.
Grid
- Grid spacing
Specifies the spacing between the grid lines. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the spacing.
- Snap to grid
Position and align items within the report based on the gridlines. By default, this check box is selected.
