RunningValue Property
This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.
The RunningValue property returns the setting used by Microsoft SQL Server for the referenced configuration option.

Remarks
Prior to changing a configurable SQL Server operating setting, the RunningValue and CurrentValue properties are identical for the ConfigValue object referencing that setting. A change is made to the setting by using the CurrentValue property, and the values vary as changes are applied.
