ThirdPartyOptions Property

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The ThirdPartyOptions property specifies whether to suppress the display of a heterogeneous publication in the Replication folder in SQL Server Management Studio.

    EAn expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.

    A long integer that specifies a SQLDMO_THIRDPARTYOPTION_TYPE constant as described in Settings.

Set the ThirdPartyOptions property using these values.

SQLDMOThirdPartyOption_Default

0

Displays a heterogeneous publication in the Replication folder in SQL Server Management Studio (default).

SQLDMOThirdPartyOption_/SuppressDisplay

1

Suppresses display of a heterogeneous publication in the Replication folder in SQL Server Management Studio.

Remarks

ThirdPartyOptions is set to SQLDMOThirdPartyOption_Default by default.

Note

If an application calls ThirdPartyOptions on an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later" are returned.
