A String value.

Remarks

For a Microsoft SQL Server column created using a base data type, the referencing column object data type and physical data type fields have identical values. For a SQL Server column created using a user-defined data type, the column object data type field returns the name of the user-defined data type. The physical data type field reports the SQL Server base data type.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.
