IRenderingExtension.RenderStream Method

Renders a particular stream from the report. All streams are created during the initial call to Render, but the streams are not immediately returned.

Parameters

streamName
A string containing the name of the stream to render.

report
The contents of the report.

reportServerParameters
A string dictionary containing the parameters for the report server.

deviceInfo
Device specific information that can be passed to the rendering extension at run time by client applications.

clientCapabilities
A System.Collections.Specialized.NameValueCollection dictionary containing information about the client.

evaluateHeaderFooterExpressions
The EvaluateHeaderFooterExpressions delegate to be called if the page header or its footer is dependent on the contents of the page.

createAndRegisterStream
The delegate function to call to get a stream to render into. For more information, see CreateAndRegisterStream.

Return Value

A Boolean value. A return value of true indicates that any properties added to the report object model are saved into the intermediate format.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
