Specify Target (Schema Generation Wizard) (SSAS)

Use the Specify Target page to identify the data source view in which the relational schemas are to be created.

Options

  • Create a new data source view
    Select to create a new data source view to contain the relational schema generated by the wizard.

  • Data source view name
    Type the name of the new data source view.

    Note

    This option is enabled only if Create a new data source view is selected.

  • Data source
    Select the data source to be associated with the new data source view.

    Note

    This option is enabled only if Create a new data source view is selected.

  • New
    Click to display the Data Source Wizard and define a new data source to be associated with the new data source view.

  • Use existing data source view
    Select to choose an existing data source view to contain the relational schema generated by the wizard.
