Report Subscription Properties (Parameters Page)

Use this page to modify the parameter values of a parameterized report to which you are subscribing. The values on this page originate from the report definition at design time, or from the Parameters property page of a report. Not all values can be modified for subscription purposes.

Parameter properties that you can set for a subscription include Value and Null. These properties are mutually exclusive.

Options

  • Parameter
Shows the prompt string of the parameter used to request a parameter value. If no prompt string is defined, this value is empty.
  • Value
Select a value from the valid values list. If a list of valid values is not available. You can type a constant value to use as a parameter value. You must know in advance which values are valid. To enable this property, clear the Use Default check box. Null must not be selected.
  • Use Default
When selected, the subscription uses predefined default values for the parameter to run the report.
  • Null
Select this check box to specify null as the default value. A null value means that the report runs even if you do not provide a parameter value. If you cannot specify null, it is because null values are not allowed for the parameter.
