Property Value

A String that contains the name of the component.

Remarks

Components typically do not set their Name property. This property is required, so after programmatically adding a component to a data flow task, the developer must assign a value for this property.

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
